ENHow does sublative rejuvenation work?
The unique feature of eMatrix sublative rejuvenation is its maximum therapeutic effect in the deeper layers of the skin with minimal damage to the skin surface. Heat is generated by radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin through a matrix of microelectrodes. This creates more intense heat that penetrates deeper skin layers, stimulating collagen production, tightening pores, and subsequently reducing fine wrinkles.
What are the suitable indications?
eMatrix is highly effective not only for non-invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation, and the treatment of white stretch marks, but also for reducing acne scars and various pigmentations. Depending on the intensity of the selected parameters, it allows for both ablative treatments and gentle skin heating.
How does the treatment proceed?
Before the procedure, the treated area is thoroughly cleansed, and a topical anesthetic may be applied if necessary. Based on the desired treatment, the appropriate device parameters are set. The treated area is gradually covered by repeated applications of the handpiece with a square footprint measuring 12 mm. Through the matrix of microelectrodes, radiofrequency pulses pass through the skin into the deeper layers, rapidly heating the tissue in targeted points. Shortly after the treatment, the skin may become slightly red and mildly swollen. When higher settings are used, fine crusts may form on the skin after the procedure and will gradually shed.
How often are the treatments repeated?
Typically, three treatments are required at intervals of four to six weeks.
What is the post-treatment skin care?
Immediately after the procedure, a soothing cream is applied to the treated area. During the first two days, it is necessary to avoid mechanical and thermal irritation of the treated area, such as hot baths or massage. Hydrating skincare products and makeup may be used as early as 12 hours after treatment. Throughout the treatment period and for at least one month afterward, the treated areas must be protected from the sun using sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30.
