The operating rooms are equipped with the most modern technology and provide a full technical base for the following fields of operations: plastic surgery, orthopaedics and gynaecology. The operations are carried out in the framework of single-day surgery. This allows the patient to be transferred to home care after a few hours.

The most important part of the work of Lekářský dům, a.s. consists in programs of operations provided in the fields of plastic surgery, orthopaedics and gynaecology. This requires the use of the most modern technology, which is available at Lekářský dům, a.s., which is a modern private clinic. There are two large operating rooms and two small rooms for minor operations, intended primarily for laser operations. A comfortable bed section is attached to the operating rooms. The use of new technologies, such as lasers and related methods, and the use of endoscopes permit far more sensitive intervention in the organism of the patient than traditional medical procedures and thus substantially decrease the pain following the operation and increase patient comfort, and decrease the period of hospitalisation and sick leave. The operational methods are based on endoscopic surgery in arthroscopy and laser techniques. Following most operations, the patient returns to normal life after 3-5 weeks.
